About
Built by people who stopped waiting.
Robin Hood Network started from a simple frustration:
Why do so many everyday systems become harder and more expensive while technology keeps becoming more powerful?
Instead of waiting for institutions to redesign them, we decided to start building alternatives ourselves.
Robin Hood Network is the layer that connects the projects. It carries the shared identity, the philosophy and the standard every project is held to: be truthful, be useful, be free at the core.
Each project is built to stand on its own. FineFix does not need Train Hopper to work. But when one person's problem crosses from a fine into parking, or from a company into a life abroad, the network makes the handover natural.
Individual projects can eventually become independent products with their own teams and their own direction while remaining connected through the network.
What we hold ourselves to
Truth over metrics
No invented user numbers, partners, success rates or press quotes. Status labels mean what they say.
Privacy by default
We collect as little as possible. No advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, no accounts unless a product genuinely needs one.
Understand, then choose
We explain rules, we never tell people rules do not apply to them. Freedom starts with understanding.
Build, then talk
The work speaks. We prefer shipping a rough tool over publishing a polished promise.
Where this is going
The network is architected to grow past a portfolio. A privacy-conscious Robin Hood ID connecting products, a Passport dashboard of your international options, an assistant that routes questions to the right tool, a map comparing countries, open data and a community. None of that exists yet. The foundation is built so it can.
Who is behind it
Robin Hood Network is an initiative from the Netherlands, started by an independent builder and a small circle of people who have each run into these systems personally. It is not funded, not sponsored and not affiliated with any party, agency or company of a similar name.
